I found this blog by typing in frugal sewing i think. anyway, i love your ideas. I have REALLY been needing some organizing tools and i have been wanting to make a few bed caddys, and a couple couch caddys that i guess are about the same. I didnt want to go and buy the grippy stuff you usually use to make these because everything i buy for crafting is from a thrift store. crafting costs alot!!! I haven’t done a price check but i think it might be expensive so i haven’t even looked. I think these mats are probably a very easy thing to find a thrift store, and i dont know why i haven’t thought of it. Thats one of the more awesome frugal tips i’ve seen on sewing blogs! sorry for the long comment i just got excited lol.
