Still reading??? Well, let me tell you a bit about myself. I am a Christian, homeschooling mom of 4 with way too many hobbies. It would probably drive the average husband insane, but I’ve been blessed with a very patient and understanding man who actually encourages me to keep trying new and interesting endeavors.
I absolutely love to create and sew pretty things. My love affair with making things began when I was a child. Making things myself has always been a passion. When I go to a store and see a pretty top or dress I think, “How can I make this myself?”
I got my first sewing machine right out of college and fell in love. I am completely self taught,(IS IT OKAY TO SAY THAT OUT LOUD???) and I still have tons to learn. It has been a crazy adventure! Trust me, I have made some “interesting” things along the way and my seam ripper is always at my side.
My Blogging goal: To share my sewing, crafting, cooking, homeschooling journey and gazillion other hobbies and hopefully encourage the regular, time-crunched gal like me to learn a few new things and to have a great time along the way. I also want to encourage determination to not give up! Believe me, my seam ripper has a prominent place on my sewing desk. In fact, I have several!
